Since a lot of people experience different frames per second
I will make custom INI's for everyone's PC and for different situations.
◘ Now lets get to it
-This file is assuming you got the pack and installed it correctly -Assuming it's installed correctly you should have 0 CTD -If you have good PC but 30 FPS check ◘◘◘TIP3◘◘◘
◘ This is just the base to asses you average FPS
-Will build on it for every PC assuming you post you PC correct specifications ◘What you have to do
and copy it to X:\
-Remember to set you type your GPU name in skyrimprefs.ini ◘What it does/has in it
-Multiple INI tweaks and dll to determine average FPS on YOUR PC -No *FPS clamp (game world will not slow down if your FPS is under 60) -No Antialiasing -If your hardware is not good enough and FPS is under 60 you game world will *stutter ◘How to test average FPS
-Load the save game provided (don't worry about the load message) -After game is loaded press the star button "*" near numpad minus "-" -This will display your frames per second on screen -You should be either near your settlement or in your base cabin depending on what you load -From there go to Solitude on foot taking any route you see fit -This will test your average FPS while running the pack. *Optional you can activate the convenient horses script latency test and see an average script latency ◘Results
-Post your PC specs here -Post your average FPS in this thread *Optional post your script latency in this thread ◘End-game
-I will build custom INI's based on the data collected. -This can improve your FPS and the enjoyability of gameplay by a big amount since it will be custom tailored to your PC specs. -Multiple (possibly 10 or more) tweaks to suit your hardware needs -Multiple variants both with *clamp on and *clamp off ◘Explanations
*FPS clamp = Method to reduce or eliminate game stutter. + Upside = No stutter and smooth gameplay - Downside = If your FPS goes down more that the set value the game engine will "slow time" to avoid stutter
*Stutter = A known element in Bethesda game engines. If your hardware (both CPU and GPU) aren't strong or modern enough your image/gameworld will seem to pause for a few seconds, usually in this time the engine will try to load the said assets (textures) or NPC's.Depending on your system this can happen once every 10 minutes or once every few seconds.
As you can see where this going this can get SUPER frustrating, hence the FPS clamp. •You can also customize your INI's manually and a tutorial can be found below.
•FPS limit recommended in antilag.cfg = your average FPS
•FPS clamp recommended in iFPSClamp=your average FPS -2 or -5 *If you prefer stutter vs "slow down" remove the line completely
•uGridsToLoad=5 recommended for most PC's •Some warnings about uGridsToLoad -Changing the value above 5 is permanent to save-game so back up you savegames -Changing the value above 5 (7,9,11) with a low or medium end CPU can cause a lot of script lag,FPS spikes and when the CPU can't take it anymore CTD *Be careful with this setting/line
•Shadows res - 4096 for 4gb GPU - 3072 for 3GB GPU - 2048 for 2GB GPU - 1024 or 512 for 1GB GPU •Texture res - High for 2GB and up GPU - Medium for 1GB GPU •Water res - 2048 and up for HighEnd PC's *Water multi sample is possible also - 1024 for most PC's
•iMinGrassSize=20/25 or 50 for HighEnd PC's •iMinGrassSize=50 or 75 for MediumEnd PC's •iMinGrassSize=100 or 125 for LowEnd PC's
•More performance - Opening enblocal.ini and setting UseDefferedRendering=false will disable some eye-candy(like AO,subsurface scattering etc)and the heavy hitters of ENB giving massive FPS boost and still keep some of the good stuff like Bloom,Adaptation and DOF.Give it a try.
•All new INI's will be posted below and require the main file from above. -To download click on image. -A short description of the INI will be available on the download image. -It's up to you to set your FPS limit with antilag.cfg -Nvidia AF can be better than ENB AF depending on your system

hi my specs are- gpu.gtx 970 g1 gaming 4gb cpu-fx8350at moment 4,7ghz can go to 5ghz stable if it maters. 8gb ram ripjaws 1600mhz those are the only things that matters right? ok theres something else why are the graphics soo bad ? it looks like vannila whit aloot of bloom and i cant see further then like 40 meters then all gets blury while i move it starts to happear normaly i have only change the skyrim perfs and ini to hight setings bot didnt change anything and also i get some slow motion from time to time like 10 to 10 sec and is there a way to remove all the bloom effect and the distance draw to be fully view isntead of the blury blocky 1? and the average fps are 60-65 dunno if it becau i have half refresh rate on nvidia panel and when it happens the slow motion it drops to 20.

•If you used the file posted for download above it has no AA or AF
-Will post more variations for different PC.
•If you mean distance rendering that's the way skyrim loads terrain. You can mess with UGRID but that change is permanent for you save-game.
-If you want you distance to be drawn fully i suggest you call NASA and ask them to lend you some of their CPU`s.
•SHIFT+F12 to disable ENB to see if's just a bloom filter.

If you mean the white/blue fog there is a mod for that
•Again if you mean terrain render distance that is handled by ugrids and other mods that can be very detrimental to FPS
•To disable ENB DOF press SHIFT+ENTER then "untick" DOF(depth of field) -Then go to upside of the GUI and press SAVE and APPLY.
*Or go to X:\Skyrim\enbseries.ini and change EnableDepthOfField=true to EnableDepthOfField=false and save.

CPU - i7-3770 RAM - 16Gigs GPU - GTX760. Outdoors: Enb off: 60-40 Enb on: 40-25 fps In cities: Enb off: 60-30 (with stuttering) Enb on: <30 Indoors: Enb off: 60 Enb on: 60-50
The FPS display is a bit annoying, as it updates way too fast. Its often incredibly difficult to make out what the actual FPS is for me at the moment, as it goes from 30 to 50 to 40 in the span of a nanosecond.

Thanks for the info.
You can use fraps to monitor frame-rate also. -Can use a hotkey for position. -Can set it to only update frame-rate once a second.
But the ENB frate-counter also very accurate and fast.

I then realized I did this all during the night, and that may affect it, so i waited 12 hours and did it again, and got about 2 less avg fps. BTW: Indoors was a full walk around Rayek's end, Outdoors was walking towards and back from Whiterun, and In City was a full walk around Whiterun. OVerall, very playable FPS without ENB, but stuttering gets pretty annoying with ENB, unless i'm indoors. I'll try setting my FPS cap to 50. that may help with the stuttering.
Also, is it alright to uninstall the 'sexy crafting merchants' mod? I like to play a thief character, and their seemingly godlike detection rate is rather annoying, as I get detected instantly upon entering the store, despite it being the middle of the night, and i'm in another room entirely. It's possibly it's just because my sneak skill is low, but currently the only way to do anything is to ~kill then ~resurrect them.

You can disable it but implies some changes
-You must untick and delete :
*ASIS SkyProc Patch Done *Perkus Maximus - SkyProc Patch Done
•You must redo proc patches for both ASIS and PERMA
-ASIS should be easy enough in 5 minutes or less -PERMA will take from 30 min to 4hours to redo
-Make sure PERMA has this in arguments in MO "-Xmx1024m -jar "X:\Skyrim\MO MODS\Perkus Maximus - Maximum Perk Overhaul\SkyProc Patchers\T3nd0_PatchusMaximus\PatchusMaximus.jar""

Clicking on the pictures takes you to dropbox for download. Not on the enlarge just str8 in the middle of the picture or something like that.
***Just a friendly reminder if you decide to get the high preset***

Ok, I did the Benchmark
Lowest: 26 (But many stutters) Highest: 40 Average: It was mosly around 34-35.
My specs:
I7 4770K CPU @ 3.9 GHz Geforce GTX 760 Windforce 16 Gigabytes of RAM
I checked and the CPU wasn't throttling.
Something is pretty weird though. The mod order and the Load order is very different from yours (based on your modlist video). Is that Bad? I cleaned the DLC esms and Update then created a new mod out of those, and added a companion mod (Sophia) but thats pretty much the only things added.

Hmm you should have no problem with that pc and FPS should be higher around 50 average
Check install instructions 1 more time. Check if you are using the correct NVIDIA driver and settings. (diver can be found in ReadMEs and tools\redist)
-What ini's did you use from above? -If installed correctly load order should be almost identical(except for realistic water and some of my merged esp's)because MO should use the modlist from the pack
-You can use the FPS clamp method -You can limit your FPS with antilag.cfg

I fixed the mod order with the zipped profile, but whenever i put the game on anything it runs with ENB at 35 but stutters every few seconds and without ENB a very unstable 50 and stutters. This is with any of the settings (Low, Very Low, Medium) but it only starts to run differently at high. I really think something is wrong in general as I can run all other games as expected but whenever it comes to skyrim with any mods (I've modded it by myself before) this always happens. And it also CTDs quite often. Any help would be appreciated.
By the way, you are probably my favorite person on the internet like ever. You make this mod pack for people you don't know and you supply free support to anyone just so they can enjoy the packs.

•Did you try the driver i recommended? •Did you check out the tips and trick tread? •Did you check out the Video help thread?
•Don't forget to move realistic water and the 5 sub-esp somewhere at 180-185 in load order
◘OK based on your PC try this get the medium Ini's
•In antilag.cfg (skyrim dir)set
-FPSlimit=35
•In skyrim.ini (X:\Skyrim\profiles\Rotten) set
Quote :
[General] sLanguage=ENGLISH bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 uExterior Cell Buffer=32 uGridsToLoad=5 iFPSClamp=30(anywhere from 30 to 35 you should be good=no stutter)
Quote :
[Grass] bAllowCreateGrass=1 bAllowLoadGrass=0 iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=15 iMinGrassSize=80(anywhere from 75 to 100 you should be good)
•Watch this video tut
-Disable DOF -Disable AO (ambient occlusion) -Don't forget to SAVE then APPLY (this saves even after you exit the game) *TIP : If you press the console button you will have an easier time navigating the ENB GUI/menu -There are various AA and quality settings in each of ENB effects(water, rain, etc) that you can see and modify and if needed lower *I will make short tutorial on in when i have time •Sort the mods in MO left pane by priority making sure "ASIS SkyProc Patch Done" is the last one (number 206 or more if you added more mods)
Subject: Re: INI Download Center Fri Dec 25, 2015 4:01 am
Ok, it was going pretty well with the tweaks (I didn't have to turn off AO or DOF though, runs great with them on), but I think that was mostly because I got the right driver. So I started playing from Kali the Prisoner (changed my character through showracemnu) and used the vanilla start. Everything was working but then my character froze like i had the free camera on. I press the console button but it just freezes the game. I typed TFC without seeing anything and that fixed it a little. But after that i couldnt get to any UI. Pressing tab just froze it, same with ESC. So i just closed the game with Alt-F4. Now whenever I launch skyrim it gets to the menu screen, shows the ENB, but before the buttons pop up it CTD's. I can't get it to work.
Oh, and is there a way to turn off, or at least turn down the fog? It's really annoying when both the ENB and fog are on, but when I turn of ENB it looks fine.

OK forgot to mention
-Right SHIFT activates TFC and TM (toggle menu) -Right CTR activates freezes time and TM -Settings above are used to take screenshots -You can customize these keys with screenshot assist from MCM

Subject: Looking for Performance Advice Fri Feb 12, 2016 5:57 am
Hey Rotten and crew,
So I have the following: i7 3930K 16GB RAM NDIVIA GeForce GTX980 4GB
I have gone through the performance tips and tricks, am using the 352.86 drivers that came with the package, and my NDIVIA control panel follows the recommended settings exactly (the only difference is that my control panel has an option for Multi-Frame Sample AA (MFAA) that is set to "Use global setting (off)." I haven't added any mods and I moved the water mods down in to the load order to match exactly.
Here's the kicker... I'm getting ~35-40 FPS on the run to Solitude using the test parameters, and in a city (so far I've tested only in Whiterun) it's about 25-30. I get occasional stuttering and it drops into the single digits for a second or two fairly often (it seems to be worse if I turn fast). I'm talking several times a minute, as many as 15 times or so per minute. I've played around with turning ENB aspects on/off and they honestly don't seem to change my performance.
The lack of ENB impact, plus my rig, tells me I have a setting screwed up somewhere. I have no idea what to do at this point.
I've turned the FPSlimit to 35 and set the iFPSclamp to 30. I still get the stuttering.
Eff.

Kind of a dumb thing but did you copy the ini's to the mo profile settings or from to documents?correct is to copy them to MO profile
Grass density? Ugrids? CH latency test? On SSD on HDD?If HDD what RPM? Try diffrent ini's from download/images above. Test files are ment to be used with one of the ini pack.
Don't have internet right now,i'll get it sorted out out soon and maybe be more helpful on this matter.i might upgrade some hardware soon.but with my i5 660/8GB ddr3/GTX 780 i average 45-60 so something is def wrong.took me 20 mins to type this on tablet, will get back on this soon
Subject: Re: INI Download Center Sat Feb 13, 2016 7:25 pm
I did copy the test .ini files to the Rotten profile in MO.
Even using the "medium .ini files" it's about the same performance-wise. I could play with the 30fps, but the reoccuring lag/stutter I get is the big issue, and I can't figure out the cause. I've tested and retested.
So grass density, with medium, is what, 50? Ugrids would be 5
I'll have to redo the CH latency test, but the one time I did run it the numbers were all over the place. Not a lot of consistency.
It's on an SSD.
I'll try to do some more performance testing and get back to you, but for now, yeah, the stuttering/lag is the big issue. I've been testing in Whiterun only and holy crap is it bad, especially near the front gates.
Thanks for all your help...

Something is def wrong with your setup of the pack, might be bad driver config (make sure vsync is on for TESV.exe) •Try to set MFAA to off. -Strange thing is that if you set the FPS clamp through the ini that forces the game engine not to stutter. -Did you delete the high resolution.bsa and esp? -Try looking to some of the tweaks threads see if you missed anything.

I have the game setup as recommended including the NVidia settings.... also using the 355.82 driver. I've also set my texture quality to MEDIUM via the included Configurator (in MO), and my FPS still avgs 35 to 40.... and if I enter Riften, it drops to 20 FPS.
UPDATE: I downloaded the Test ini's and ran to Solitude using an included Save and avg'd 40 FPS (dropped into 30's in beginning hit 50 a bit towards Solitude, but mostly around 40).
Any suggestions? Posting specs below:

Quick update for everyone.Opening enblocal.ini and setting UseDefferedRendering=false will disable some eye-candy(like AO,subsurface scattering etc)and the heavy hitters of ENB giving massive FPS boost and still keep some of the good stuff like Bloom,Adaptation and DOF.Give it a try.
Checking the help/tweak/video threads and tweak setting until you are happy with your FPS.

1.For grass go to :
•X:\Skyrim\profiles\Rotten\skyrim.ini and make sure it's like this
2.Use torches, magic or craft a latern that you can put on you character's hip.
3.If you install realvision make sure you properly uninstall the current ENB •After installing realvision open enblocal.ini and change the following 3 settings to:
