This is my personal take on the game. Combat will be a lot harder. *New game recommended if you want a real challenge *Survival difficulty recommended *Disable/backup/delete Better Locational Damage.esp if you feel a little suicidal or have strong nerves You can kill an npc by shooting it in the head.Higher levels might take more hits. NPC's will be higher level. You can encounter lvl 99 NPC at level 1 AI will be a little smarter.(example : Melee NPC will try to ambush you) Nights Darker even darker Weathers harsher and better looking.More types Settlement building easier and with a lot more objects. Well it still needs tweaking and i can't play any DX11 games for more than 20 minutes because one of my exhaust PC fans died on me,the case turns into an airplane engine, and as usual I'm broke AF :) but overall i like how the pack is coming along.

that sucks :( Wish I could donate (would love to, since you've done so many awesome compilations. I love the cities skylines ones too). But I know how having no money feels...I too am broke as hell lol. I get a monthly income due to my disability, but it doesn't really help much since California is so expensive lol. both that and my disability, hence why I'm still at home with my parents at 27 :P
Ah the life of money woes :P But in any case...I know I said it before...but thanks for all your amazing work on these compilations. :) I'd say take a break after you finish this current one :P You did say in a sticky you were lol. Just play and have fun :D With that said, modding IS pretty addicting lol. Somehow...even though it can be really annoying and frustrating too rofl.

Well i am just playing the game but at the same time i like to add some mods where i see the need for one,and adding them to my taste so this like a personal project but if people want it I'll share it when I'm happy with it.
But you do have a point i think i may have a problem with modding. Fallout came out just a month ago and i have about 330 mods installed :) I tend to check nexus out after 20-30 minutes of gameplay while i leave the PC to cool down for a sec and end up getting more mods :D
I know it sucks to live with disability, not on my own skin but my oldest sister has a series of extensive leg operations and it hurts me when i see her struggle to walk sometimes or when she can't do some things we take for granted. And i also know government don't really care about people with problems. She can't work in any domain even if she wanted to and her aid per month is like 50$

wow, looks amazing! :D Way better than the current released version. Sounds like it'll be a lot more fun too, with the mod list you showed.

I have a problem, the game loads using 1200x resolution, yet when the game starts the resolution is 1900x, so the only thing I see is the right part of the screen. Why is this happening and how can I use 1900 instead of 1200? (I cant find the option with fallout4manager, I can find it without it)

Make Fallout4Prefs.ini non-read only then open it and change the lines below to your desired resolution.

How do I erase all the modifications in the difficulty settings? With all due respect, I don't like the changes. The enemies are too strong, so much it gets terribly boring. And you just one shot everyone with headshots in normal difficulty, it makes the combat irrelevant. I want to be able to shoot without having to worry about accuracy, usually, I have to rely in VATS the whole time if I want to kill an enemy withouy dying -> I dont like it.

Let me see if remember folder structure properly...some hardware failures over here...
Fallout 4\Data\Textures\setdressing\PaintingsGeneric ... i think that should do it.

Hey RottenDub is there any way I can change the difficulty of the game outside the main menu? It defaults back to survival every time I restart. It is fun but I think my wimp ass would rather it be down to hard for a little bit until I get used to PC combat, I have been a console gamer my whole life and am just recently getting into the whole PC master race lol. Is it an ini tweak?

It's in fallout4prefs.ini.Press CTR+F and search for difficulty and go down one number
You mean 0.6?Haven't touched fallout 4 in a long time.Maybe a V.1.0 once they finish with updates/DLC etc and a final version of the game is up.My game version is 1.1.30.0 and i'm happy with it that way because it performs well and i have the pack installed there and they work just fine.I see no reason for now to update.I'm not as crazy as i was on getting the "newest and shiniest version" because game industry has changed a lot,we pay for alphas,we get DLC's in betas and so on.There was a time when alpha and beta testers were payed to insure the final product was up to par...i could talk about this all day, but i digress, if now i'm happy with a game version i stick with it until i see reason to do otherwise.

Haven't even finished the game yet, haven't played it for about 3 months either...so don't count your horses.
Probably after they finish with all the DLC's,a final version of the game is out so things won't break from pack to pack and if Tanin ever releases the fallout 4 MO,will probably have to start a pack from scratch...but until then i don't think so :)
yeah there isn't much point to release any packs if they haven't finished updating the game lol.
I wouldn't agree with this per se. Many games release updates and/or new DLCs over time, and modders seem more than happy to release updates as needed. It's the same for modpacks. It's just more time consuming having to research what mods need updated to match the latest game version, then rigging them to work with the modpack. Speaking from experience.
Speaking of which... the latest 1.5 Fallout 4 update enabled a whole bunch of survival stuffs in Survival difficulty. Hunger, thirst, no fast travel, no save scumming without a bed, etc. I'm interested in starting a new game with this mode enabled, but I'm also interested in trying this modpack (I greatly prefer mod packs to individually downloading mods, for a bunch of reasons). Would anyone happen to know how well this modpack works with 1.5, since this hasn't been updated in a while?

Hello and welcome to the forums! I also agree with you but with Fallout 4 modpacks,Cities Skylines and Xcom2 packs were just a fun "quick"(as in 30-90 hours or more) side mod-pack while i sorted out my Skyrim Modpack, that's the main focus and I've been working on it for 3 years give or take,in different forms.
I guess it's up to you if you want to try the gane with the modpack and game-version recommended or use the "latest and greatest" that the vanilla game has to offer,or even yet you can try both and see which you like better.

Hi guys, hi RottenDub,
I'm a french Fallout 4 player and i played on your modpack. I was wondering if u plan to continue your wonderful work since Fallout 4 DLCs are all up ?
Actually nobody create modpacks atleast i don't find them. My dream is actually to find several updated modpacks and not just some mods on the bethesda platform. Do you think it will happen ?
I'm sorry for the poor english.

Hello and welcome to the forums!Your English is good enough don't worry! After the game reaches a final version and all the DLC's are released and if we get a god mod organizer for fallout 4 by Tanin (64bits)i will be working on a pack but when i can't tell you,so this version might be the last one for some time.
It takes a lot of time and effort building mod packs, testing and uploading and i can do only so much with the time i have available.

Performance should be as vanilla or better.
You clearly maintain your threads man! Thanks for the quick response. Much respect for what you did here, and definitely with ur skyrim perfectlymodded... ive modded my own FO4/fo3/fonv, and was quite happy with it.. however with all the updates, and performance mods, and regular updates to mods in fo4 its such a constantly moving and ever tedious arena, hence my presence here - got lazy. It feels like my folder is in shambles lol! Looks like it's gonna be back to work though if i want to stay updated and play the game (modless just aint an option).. however i will do my best to emulate the list you have here.. the reported difficulty, and ballistics realism is something i am really after! Thanks for this pack, forum, thread i anxiously await your decision to move forward with this!!

I will make another modpack at some point in time (please don't ask when) still waiting for :
•A decent mod organizer (MOx64 tanin still working on it •After they finished patching/updating the game •After i buy a decent case/PSU/GPU
That being said i haven't even finished the main story or have played it for a long time because the Skyrim mod pack has eaten all of my free time. Still waiting for them to optimize the "urban areas" of the game people with monster PC and i mean MONSTER PC's are reporting dips to 15FPS even in the urban part of the game, maybe it has been ameliorated a little bit but these kind of "reports" still coming in.I've done some tweaking to ini's and was able to fix some of these issues and the ini's are present in the pack,i've got more ini's stored away so if you have bad FPS in the urban part of the game let me know.

I know this life. A Steam user who created a fix for batman AK, was able to port that methodology in order to get my GPU (980 ti) util up to more reasonable numbers, and this greatly improved my fps. Still though, in some parts of 'city' frames just disintegrate. Not asking for an ETA, just making sure you get continuous encouragement lol
